Super-low 80/20 profile EoFTTC pricing

We hear of a partner company offering industry-leading EoFTTC pricing.

For the unitiated, EoFTTC (Ethernet over Fibre to the Cabinet) is essentially a superfast fibre Ethernet connection over fibre broadband infrastructure. This means it offers all the benefits of a standard FTTC connection – such as high upload and download speeds – but with the added benefits of being an Ethernet service like EFM.

Average Synchronous speeds are 15Mbs/15Mbs but with bursting to 80Mbs/20Mbs where available, whilst being wrapped-up in an industry leading SLA – something that you won’t get with a standard FTTC service.

Our partner is offering this service for just £80/month plus VAT at present – get in touch with our sales team on 020 3002 7992 for more information.

Acquisition trail part 1 – Virtus expands into Infinity?

Well, not quite, but they have acquired the Slough Facility from Infinity Data Centres, we hear today, as reported in a press-release from Virtus themselves

Virtus, who have seen excellent demand in it’s facilities in Enfield and Hayes, and had already been in the process of building their third London datacentre, have added this sizeable facility to their already strong prospectus.

With 9400 square meters of tech-space with 34MVA of power infrastructure already provisioned at the site, ‘LONDON4 is capable of being subdivided allowing clients to have anything from a rack in a shared space, to their own suite or data hall with dedicated power and cooling and also offers over 1,800m2 of office space for customer use.’

This acquisition now makes Virtus a major player in the UK data-centre market and will strengthen the companies position in competition with the impending new Telecity/Equinix entity which is envisaged to be completed once the latter companies divest sites as part of an agreement with courts in Europe.

Neil Cresswell, CEO, VIRTUS Data Centres said: “The market for high quality, innovative and customer friendly colocation services in London continues to be very buoyant for the right type of proposition. We have experienced strong demand for the unique offerings of VIRTUS LONDON1 and LONDON2 and are always looking for the right kind of sites to meet our ever-growing inventory requirements. We are committed to long term sustainable and scalable expansion and we were being asked by customers and prospects to offer additional locations, including Slough. – See more at: http://virtusdatacentres.com/virtus-data-centres-buys-infinity-slough-data-centre-business/#sthash.fDfIM6xz.dpuf
